インターネットで見たとおりの家でした。家の前にはたくさんの、大きなバラが

咲いておりました。 |

壁が、藤の木で大きく覆われておりました。 |

玄関のチャイムを押そうとしたときに、素敵な奥様が玄関で迎えてくれました。 |
|
|
挨拶をして中に入りました。２階に案内されました。 |
|
|

I got on a taxi at heathrow airport, I arrived at the homestayhouse at
5:30, |

I looked at the house on the Internet、that was good, |
|
|
There were a lot of big roses in front of the house, |
|
It was very beautiful, |
|
The wall was covered with wisteria trees, |
|
I pushed the door bell and a beautiful wife came out at the front of door, |
|
So I exchanged greetings , I came into the house, |
|
She guided to me upstairs,
|
|
|
|
奥さんの名前はジャキーさんで８０歳です。そんな年には見えませんでした。 |
|
背が高くて色の白い素敵な奥様です。 |
|
だんな様の名前はタッドさんで８９歳です。背が高く体格の良い素晴らしい |
|
ダンディなだんな様です。 |
|
お二人でいらしゃると映画スターのようでした。 |
|
このご夫婦に３週間お世話になります。 |
|
|
|
|
Wife name is Jacki, she is 80 years old, she is wonderful, she is tall、 |
|
|
Husband name is Tod, he is 89 years old, he is dandy and tall and well-built, |
|
|
They looked like movie stars, They took care of me for three weeks、 |
|
|
|

大きな２３Ｋの荷物を奥様と一緒に持って上がりました。とてもかわいいお部屋です。 |

階段には写真や絵が飾ってありました。お部屋には２つのベットと側にサイドテーブル、 |

デーブルの上にはスタンドがありました。 |
 |
|
寝ながら勉強をするように？そして壁際に細く長い机がありました。。 |
|
二人で勉強しても狭くありません。 |
|
スタンドが置いてありとても良かったです。大きな洋服タンス、 |
|
アイロン いつでも汚れたものを出すようにと |
|
大きな洗濯物入れの袋がありました。壁には色々な本や日本の本も沢山ありました。 |
|
ジャキーさんから、選んでどれでも使いなさいと言われました。とてもうれしく思いました。 |
|
|
|
I carried heavy luggage to the upstairs,
|
|
It was a very pretty room, |
|
The stair decorated with photos and picture,
|
|
There were two beds, a side table, and good stands on the table in the
room, |
|
I could study before sleeping and there was a long desk,
|
|
There were a big closet, an iron and a big laundry bag,
|
|
There were many books and the japanese books on the wall,
|
|
Jacki said, you could read books you want,
|
|
They were very kind for every thing, |
|
It was the very happy. |
|
|
|
早速、タットさんが明日に備えて、学校に行くための電車のチケット（オイスターカード）を |
|
|
買いに行ってくれました。私も道を覚えるために駅まで一緒に連れて行って |
|
|
いただきました。イースト・ペットニー駅からグロスター・ロード駅までです。何も解らない私に
|
|
困らないようにとの気使い本当にありがたく思いました。 |
|
|
|
|
|
Tod and I bought the train ticket to go to school,
|
|
|
It is from East putney to Glouceater road,
|
|
|
I was very happy,
|
|
|
|
|
|
広いお庭は家の後ろにありました。台所から出るとお庭です。色々な花が咲いておりました。 |
|
特にバラの花の大きいさにはびっくりしました。シャクヤク、テッセン、ゼラニューム、サルビア、 |
|
大きな木も沢山ありました。テーブルも色々ありました。 |
|
|
私たちがいつも使うテーブルは手前にありました。そこで初めての紅茶とかわいいクッキーを |
|
頂きました。とてもおいしく、ここに座っている自分が絵本の中にいるようで夢のようでした。 |
|
|

There was a Iarge garden behind the house, I could go to the greden from
the kitchen, |

There were many flowers, |
|
|
There were a peony, a clematus, a geranium, a salvia, and big tree, |
|
|
There were many tables, |
|
|
I had first cup of tea and pretty cookies, it was delicious, |
|
|
It was like a dream fou me to sit at the table, |
|
|
|
|
|
夕食はジャキーさんの手つくりのお料理です。後で聞いたのですがイギリスの伝統料理だそうです。 |
|
|
たくさんのご馳走に満腹です。ご夫妻は山ほどの料理をお代わりをしていただくのです。 |
|
|
お年を召しているのにびっくりしました。これが元気でいられる素なのかも？ |
|
|

Jacki cooked dinner, it was always handmade, the menu was British tradition, |

The dish was great, I ate a lot and They ate a lot, too, |
|
|
|
|
|
初めての素晴らしい日が忙しく過ぎました。シャワーの使い方を聞いて早めに寝ました。 |
|
|
スムーズではなかったけれども英語でお話が出来て、とてもうれしかった。 |
|
|
明日からはいよいよ学校が始まる。 |
|
|

The fiest wondreful day went quickly,

I heard how to use shower and I went to bed eariy, |
|
|
I could speak english but not smooth, I was a very happy,
|
|
|
The school began at tomorrow,
|
|

家は静かな住宅地にあります。 |

毎朝、ジャキーさんが起きて、朝食の用意をしてくださり７時３０分に一緒に頂きます。 |
|
タットさんはまだ寝ています。 |
|
コーンフレーク、紅茶、パン、ジュース、そしてデザートなどおいしく頂きます。 |
|
８時に家を出ます。駅までは歩いて３分ぐらいです。とても近くて便利です。ソフィと待ち |
|
合わせて電車で行きます。彼女の家はバスに乗り行きますので、すこし時間がかかります。。 |
|
|
|
There was the house in a quiet residential,
|
|
Jacki prepared fou breakfast, I ate together at 7:30 |
|
Tod was still sleeping. |
|
I had cornflakes, tea, bread, juice and dessert, they were delicious, |
|
I left the house at 8:00. |
|
It was around 3 minutes on foot to the station. |
|
It was very near and was convenient. |
|
|
I went by a train with Sophｙ， |
|
|
|
|
|
学校は９時からです。駅からはゆっくり歩いて１０分位です。途中クラスメートに会い |
|
|
一緒に行きます。学校に着くと、色々な国の人たちが来ていて賑やかです。 |
|
|
勉強は楽しく出来ましたが、言葉が聞き取れませんでした。 |
|
|
休み時間になると、クラスメートとお話をします。お互いに国のことなどを聞きました。 |
|
|
１３時で終りになります。帰りにピカデリーサーカス駅にある三越デパートで弁当を |
|
|
買い食べました。 |
|
|
昼食はやっぱり日本食が懐かしく何回もピカデリーサーカス駅には通いました。 |
|
|
美術館やミュージカル、買い物なども楽しみました。いつも家に帰るのは５時近くなりました。 |
|
|
|
|
The school was from 9:00.
|
|

It was about 10 minutes on walk from the station.

We met a classmate on the way and went together. |
|

The people came from various countries |

The study was fun, |

When it was break time, I talked with a classmate，

We talked about the country each other, school ended at 13:00. |

We bought a lunch in Mitsukoshi department store in the Piccadilly Circus
station,

|
We felt nostalgic because it was Japanese food, |
|
|
We went to the piccadilly circus station many times, |
|
|
We enjoyed an art museum and a musical, shopping. |
|
|
We always return to the house at 5:00， |
|
|
|
|
|
|

家に帰るといつも待っていてくれて、お庭でお茶を頂きます。時々ワインも頂きます。 |

その時、色々なお話をします。ゆっくりと言ってくれます。解らないときには辞書に |

|
アルファベットを打って頂きます。とても楽しいです。 |
|
タットさんの若いときの話も聞きました。 |
|
英国海軍で１９４５年世界戦争にも行ったそうです。たくさんの経験をしてきたそうです。 |
|
その後は農園主になりコーヒーなどを作ったそうです。 |
|
それから、タットさんのおじいさんが有名な画家だったそうです。今では値がつけられない |
|
ほど高いそうです。素晴らしいおじいさんでしたね。 |
|
ご夫妻は日本に２回来ているそうです。寝巻きに浴衣を着てましてびっくりしました。 |
|
４枚づつ持っているそうです。日本が好きなのですね？とてもうれしいです。 |
|
考えながらわかるように言ってくださいます。日が長いので８時過ぎ頃まで |
|
お庭で楽しみました。。 |
|

They waited always when I return to the house，

When I do not understand the word, I use dictionary, |

I was very happy， |

I heard the story when Tod was youg， |

Tod was the British Navy and Tod went for a global war in 1945， |

Tod experienced a lot, |
|
|
Tod became a farmer and Tod made coffee afterwards，
|
|
|
His Grandfather was famous painters, |
|
|
It has a value, so, they could sell them,
|
|
|
His Grandfather was great, |
|
|
They came to Japan twice. |
|
|
I was surprised, they wear a yukata as night clothes，
|
|
|
because a day was long, I enjoyed in a garden until past 8:00. |
|
|
|
|
|

学校から帰ると、料理の支度をしています。時間をかけて私のために作ってくださること |

本当にうれしく思います。いろいろな種類を作ってくれます |

毎日、飲み物から始まってメイン料理、野菜、サラダ、デザートなど楽しみに頂きました。

食べている途中にいつもタットさんが料理を誉めます。おいしいね、この料理素晴らしいよ |

見ていて素晴らしいご夫婦でした。感謝の言葉を忘れずに相手に伝える。 |

素晴らしいと思いました。これは日本人には出きないことです。 |

私も感謝の言葉を伝えることを学びました。夕食はゆっくり楽しみました。 |

夕食後、タットさんからのプレゼントされた装飾品を見せていただきました。 |
|
今まで頂いた物だそうです。お店の出来るほどの素晴らしい価値あるたくさんの |
|
装飾品でした。本当にやさしいタットさんです。 |
|

Jacki cooked British tradition dinnre every day， |

Jacki got ready for the cooking when I returned from the school. |
|
|
Jacki took time, and mading it for me, I felt really happy, |
|
|
Jackii made various kinds，

|
|
I began with drink and had main cooking, vegetables, salad, dessert every
day to enjoy it， |
|
Tod said, dressing was taste good,
|
|
|
There are splendid couple, |
|
|
Tod say delicios, Tod say Thank you, always, I have never met such a wonderful
couple,
|
|
I learned the word of thanks. We enjoyed slow dinner, |
|
|
|
|
|
|

いよいよ最後の日になってしまいました。 |

朝、学校に行くと今日で終わる人が多くいました。クラスメートとの別れ、そして先生との |

別れとてもさびしく感じました。又、再開を約束して別れを惜しみました。 |
|
本当に各国の人との素晴らしい出会い、変えがたい貴重な経験、 |
|
思い出多いものになりました。 |

on the last day

I went to school in the morning, and I finished 3weeks class,

When I said Good bye to my teacher and my classmate with ambrace,
|
|
I felt lonely, We promised reunion， |
|
My classmates were wonderful, I had a good experience, |

最後の日、帰りの時間が遅くなってしまいましたが、家に帰ると、ジャキーさんがが |
|
|
サンドイッチを作って私を待っていてくれました。 |
|
|
最後まで気を使っていただいて本当にうれしく思います。 |
|
|
ご夫妻には親切にしていただき、たくさん甘えてしまいました。 |
|
|
振り返ると夢のようでした。自分の年を忘れてここに来られたこと本当にうれしく思います。 |
|
|
素敵なホストファミリーとも出会えたこと、学校でいろいろの国の人たちと一緒に勉強できたこと |
|
そして、日本人の千佳子さんに出会えたこと、たくさんの思いでができました。 |
|
|
おじいさんの書いた絵のコピーも頂いてきました。私の宝物になりました。 |
|
|

I returned to the house, Ｊacki made a sandwich and waited for me、I was
happy, |
|
and I met Japanese Chikako, I had a lot of pleasant memories, |
|
I had the copy of the picture which Grandfather painted, |
|
it is my treasure, |
|
I had many kindnesses and I thank you, I had a great time and it seemed
like a dream, |
|
|
|
|
|
|
時間になりタクシーが迎えにきました。ご夫妻との別れとても寂しく、感謝の気持ちで |
|
いっぱいでしたが涙でうまく伝えられませんでした。見送られてタクシーへ |
|
又、ぜひ再会したいです。 |
|
|
|
It was time, and a taxi came to pick me up. |

I was full of the feelings of thanks, but I could not say with tears. |

ロンドンに来るために英語の勉強をしました。日本の先生にはたくさん教えて |

いただきました。迷っている私を押していただきました。そしてソフィさんと出会えたこと |

そして、何よりもいつも私を見守ってくれる理解ある夫に心から感謝をしております。 |

I studied English a lot to come to Londoin in Japan. I had studyed,

My teacher pushed me on the back to come, then I met Sophy、 |

And, my husband understood me and he always watches me， |
